For years, Lauren Strangio had what many people would consider a successful career—a well-paying corporate position, stability, and a path where many of life's professional pieces were already taken care of.
But she knew it wasn't her calling.
Her calling was the body.
Lauren has spent years deeply immersed in health, wellness, nutrition, and understanding how the human body works. The more she learned—and the more people she worked with—the more her curiosity grew.
Through thousands of client interactions, Lauren began noticing something important. People could spend tremendous amounts of time working on their physical health, nutrition, lifestyle, and wellness, yet sometimes it felt like an important piece of the puzzle was still missing.
She kept coming back to one question:
What if we're addressing what we see on the surface, but haven't explored the root?
We experience the connection between our emotions and our bodies every day. Receive terrible news and you may immediately feel it in your stomach, chest, breathing, or energy. Receive wonderful news and suddenly you can feel lighter, energized, and uplifted. Those experiences inspired Lauren to look more deeply at the relationship between our thoughts, emotions, experiences, and how we feel.
Her work eventually introduced her to emotional-release techniques that incorporated energy testing. She saw how meaningful the process of slowing down, asking questions, and exploring deeper emotional patterns could be—but she also saw an opportunity to make that experience simpler, more approachable, and accessible at home.
That became the beginning of The Root & Restore Deck.
This deck wasn't created overnight. It has been a long-term passion project involving countless hours of thought, development, testing, refinement, writing, and design. Every part of the deck and accompanying guidebook has been carefully considered with one goal in mind: creating a tool that people can actually understand and use for themselves.
After years of learning, working with clients, and developing the concept, Lauren is finally able to put Root & Restore into your hands.
The hard work is finally here.
And Lauren's hope is simple: that Root & Restore gives you a place to slow down, look a little deeper, and begin exploring the things in your life that may deserve your attention.
Sometimes the greatest change begins by getting to the root.
